OUR FAMILY RANCHERS

The Kama‘Āina Ranches brand was created to provide Safeway customers throughout Hawaii with access to the meat from over 172 local cattle ranches in Hawaii. More and more customers want to know where their food comes from, and all beef sold under the Kama‘Āina brand has been raised and finished in Hawaii. Our brand represents large, full-time cattle operations as well as many small ranchers who choose to meet the high standards that Safeway expects from its suppliers. By purchasing this locally grown, grass-fed meat, Safeway customers are supporting their local economy and the families of local ranchers who raised these animals.
